Scaling Global Poker

As a consultant for VGW, I led user acquisition efforts for Global Poker, the leading online sweepstakes poker platform in the U.S. Operating from the Sydney office, I managed multi-channel marketing campaigns across Meta, Google, and programmatic platforms. With a strong focus on acquiring high-value players and driving tournament participation, I played a central role in scaling the brand’s reach and impact across North America. My work helped establish Global Poker as a dominant force in the sweepstakes poker space, recognised for its player base and tournament offering.

Optimising Performance

At Global Poker, I oversaw the execution and optimisation of large-scale advertising campaigns across key digital channels. This included Meta Ads, Google Ads, and programmatic platforms, all strategically managed to drive high engagement and tournament participation. I worked closely with media partners to refine our acquisition funnel, using techniques such as audience segmentation, creative testing, and advanced bid strategies. Every optimisation counted—at scale, even minor performance gains translated into significant increases in registrations and active players. The emphasis was always on measurable growth, efficient spend, and building a loyal player base through smart, data-led decisions.
